Repositioning!

So It's been a while since I posted to this blog.  I have lost some focus but I am on a new path to get positioned to where God wants me to be.  I started this blog eight months ago.  I was off to a great pace and was clear on what I wanted to do as a blogger... then things changed and I began my homeschool journey which is my biggest Ministry.  Somewhere along the way I forgot that the reason I started homeschooling was because of the interaction that I had with other homeschool christian based blogs.  Their encouragement led me to know that with God I can homeschool my children.

Once I started homeschooling, I started blogging over at Encounters with Learning.  I just left In the Word hanging out to dry.  Then I visited a group that I created on Pinky Promise called Blogger's for Christ.  This group started off with just a few members in November and now has 77 members...  Guess what I abandoned that group too with my deepest regrets.  So to get back on track with In the Living Word which is my Devotional I will be using this blog as a platform to share and grow with the member's of Blogger's for Christ.  No name changes... just a little more focused. I have a million things to share and can't wait to be in a position to hear from God as to what to do concerning his people.  Stay tune.  The best is yet to come.

One Word 2013 Reposition

The year 2013 will be the year I Reposition:

  • To put in a new or different position; shift
  • To change the image, marketing strategy, etc., of (a product) so as to appeal to a wider or different audience or market
  • To place in a new position
  • The return of a broken or displaced organ, or part to its normal site
  • To target (a product or brand) at a new market by changing its image

I choose this word for many reasons.  Last year was full of dismantling and displacing events.  With much reflection there is some repositioning needed on many levels and layers.  There are things that need to be placed in new positions and some things need to be placed back or restored to their  normal site.

2013 is a year of Reposition for me in the following ways:
  • I will reposition my life in a way that allows for only positive relationships
  •  I will target a new market of people by projecting a positive image.
  •  I will work towards repositioning my heart back to love and trust in the lord even as my heart grieves.
  • I will remove myself from relationships that have proven to be toxic, even those that I love.

"If you don't like the way your life is going, redesign it. Redeem the years you lost. Restore your vision, revive your passion for living, and reclaim what was dormant inside of you. I cannot give you the dream but I can give you the tools to reach the dreams you have inside. I have seen what successful people do over and over again. I want to show you how to Reposition yourself so you can do it, too. I have learned that minor adjustments make a big difference."

31 Days of Faith: Day 13- Take the Test

Today’s Faith Note comes from James 1:3- “Because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance”.

Testing?  Who likes test?  No one really, however the thing about a test is that a test is very beneficial to you any many ways.  To test is to take measures to check the quality, performance, or reliability of (something), esp. before putting it into widespread use or practice.
Source
Therefore when your Faith is being tested don’t be discouraged because you are being molded for success.  Remember with Faith all things are possible.  When all things are possible then your success will be inevitable.  So do not fear the process, press forward knowing that the process is going to produce a product.  Perseverance is needed in the world that we live in.  This world is built on lack, doubt and unbelief.  We must be in the world bt not of the world.  Perseverance is needed to build of the Kingdom God… when the world says no we say surely you do not know the God we serve.  When the world says lack…. We say blessed and highly favored.  When the world says you are sick … we say by his stripes we are healed.  When the world says pain we say fullness of Joy.  When the world says hate… we say Love One Another.

Let your Faith be tested so that you may persevere and stay focused on the mark of the high calling of Christ Jesus.
